OBIETTIVO GLOBALE DEL PROGETTO
Il progetto europeo B-Resilient, finanziato nell’ambito del programma COSME e coordinato dal cluster belga WAGRALIM, ha supportato l’adozione di modelli sostenibili e resilienti da parte delle PMI agroalimentari europee. Attraverso voucher per l’innovazione, l’internazionalizzazione e lo sviluppo di Business Continuity Plan (BCP), tre imprese dell’Emilia-Romagna selezionate tramite bando hanno potuto potenziare la propria competitività e affrontare sfide legate all’approvvigionamento, all’instabilità dei mercati e all’adattamento tecnologico.
I PROGETTI ITALIANI FINANZIATI
VINIDEA ha ricevuto due finanziamenti per il progetto Wi-Phy per sviluppare la propria ricerca sul fitato nella vinificazione (progetti di innovazione e BCP), valutando i modelli di estrazione, identificando il modello artigianale come più adatto per le piccole cantine, e aprendo la strada a nuove applicazioni commerciali sostenibili. Con un terzo voucher (internazionalizzazione) ha inoltre avviato contatti negli Stati Uniti per introdurre l’uso del fitato da vinaccioli nella stabilizzazione del vino.
PACKTIN ha realizzato il progetto di innovazione SIIP, grazie al quale ha costruito un modello circolare sostenibile nell’agroalimentare recuperando sottoprodotti e trasformandoli in farine funzionali tramite un innovativo processo di essiccazione a freddo. Inoltre, grazie al progetto SecSup ha condotto un BCP per garantire la continuità nella fornitura di sottoprodotti agroalimentari, ampliando la rete dei fornitori, migliorando la capacità produttiva e implementando una nuova cella frigorifera a -18°C.
AGRIENERGIA attraverso il voucher internazionalizzazione ha esplorato il mercato cinese per promuovere fertilizzanti organici a base di digestato. L’interesse da parte dei partner cinesi è stato alto, e la definizione del prodotto richiederà ulteriori sviluppi.
INNOSTART ha valorizzato il nocciolo d’oliva per produrre materiali compositi sostenibili nei settori edilizia e nautica. Il progetto ha garantito approvvigionamento stabile, favorito la creazione di sei nuovi posti di lavoro e ridotto del 30% la carbon footprint dei materiali.

Italian Projects Funded by B-Resilient: Innovation and Resilience for Agri-Food SMEs
Overall Project Objective
The European B-Resilient project, funded under the COSME programme and coordinated by the Belgian cluster WAGRALIM, supported the adoption of sustainable and resilient models by European agri-food SMEs. Through vouchers for innovation, internationalisation, and the development of Business Continuity Plans (BCP), three Emilia-Romagna companies selected through a call were able to enhance their competitiveness and address challenges related to supply chains, market instability, and technological adaptation.
Funded Italian Projects
VINIDEA received two grants for the Wi-Phy project to advance its research on phytate in winemaking (innovation and BCP projects), assessing extraction models and identifying the artisanal model as most suitable for small wineries, thus paving the way for new sustainable commercial applications. With a third voucher (internationalisation), it also initiated contacts in the U.S. to introduce the use of phytate extracted from grape seeds for wine stabilization.
PACKTIN implemented the innovation project SIIP, developing a sustainable circular model in the agri-food sector by recovering by-products and transforming them into functional flours through an innovative cold drying process. Additionally, through the BCP project SecSup, it ensured continuity in the supply of agri-food by-products, expanded its supplier network, enhanced production capacity, and implemented a new -18°C cold storage unit.
AGRIENERGIA, through the internationalisation voucher, explored the Chinese market to promote organic fertilizers based on digestate. Interest from Chinese partners was high, and further development will be done to define the final product.
INNOSTART valorised olive pits to produce sustainable composite materials for the construction and nautical sectors. The project ensured a stable supply chain, supported the creation of six new jobs, and reduced the carbon footprint of materials by 30%.

Impact and Future Outlook
The supported projects delivered tangible economic results, including entry into new markets, over 15 new commercial collaborations, job creation, and increased production capacity. On the environmental side, there was a strong shift towards circular practices and waste reduction. The strategic and methodological support of Clust-ER Agrifood guided the companies from planning through to European-level valorisation of results, strengthening the regional ecosystem and international growth opportunities.
