Biotech4Food: l’evento finale e i risultati del progetto
In vista della conclusione del progetto, prevista a ottobre 2026, Biotech4Food ha riunito a Salonicco, il 16 e 17 settembre, imprese, centri di ricerca e istituzioni per condividere i risultati raggiunti e le prospettive delle biotecnologie per sistemi alimentari più sostenibili, circolari e competitivi.
Al centro dell’evento, 15 percorsi di innovazione delle PMI europee, con approfondimenti su proteine sostenibili, ingredienti innovativi e biotecnologie per la salute. Un’occasione per rafforzare la collaborazione tra ricerca e industria, destinata a proseguire oltre il progetto anche attraverso la comunità Ingredients for the Bioeconomy (I4BE).
Biotech4Food: the final event and project results
As the project approaches its conclusion in October 2026, Biotech4Food brought together businesses, research centres and institutions in Thessaloniki on 16–17 September to share achievements and explore the potential of biotechnology to support more sustainable, circular and competitive food systems.
The event showcased 15 innovation journeys by European SMEs, with discussions on sustainable proteins, innovative ingredients and health-focused biotechnology. It also provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration between research and industry, which will continue beyond the project through the Ingredients for the Bioeconomy (I4BE) community.
